  • Why Should I Refer a Friend to Give Blood?

    We’re lucky to have a strong, dedicated donor community — but there’s always a need for more blood to meet patient demand. Without new donors joining, it becomes harder to keep hospitals across our region supplied.

    Many people simply haven’t donated because they’ve never been asked — that’s where you come in!
    By inviting your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to give blood, you can help save lives. It only takes a few seconds to ask, but your impact can be enormous.

    When your referral schedules their first ImpactLife donation using your unique referral code and presents to donate, you'll both receive an email containing a link to order your limited edition, ImpactLife t-shirt.

  • Can I Get Credit for Referring Someone Who Already Has an Account?

    If the person you refer has a donor rewards account but has never scheduled a donation, they can still apply your referral code when scheduling their first donation with ImpactLife. However, if they’ve already scheduled a donation with us and have a donor ID, they won’t be eligible to use your code.

  • How Long Does It Take for a Referral to Show Up in My Account?

    Once your referral has scheduled their donation, your referral count should reflect it immediately (or with a quick page refresh). However, your email to order your exclusive referral t-shirt will be sent to you and your referral once they present to donate at their donation.

  • What If the Referral Code Is Entered Incorrectly?

    The referral credit will not be applied if entered incorrectly. Please ensure that the characters match up, or reach out for assistance booking if you would like to ensure there is confirmation that the referral code is entered correctly when scheduling.

  • How Do I Find My Referral Code?

    Your referral code is permanently located at the bottom of your donor account portal. Scroll down to find and share your unique code anytime.

  • Can I Change or Customize My Referral Code?

    Not at this time. Referral codes are automatically generated and permanently tied to each donor account to ensure accuracy and prevent duplicate entries.

  • Why Can’t I Find My Referral Code in My App?

    Referral codes are currently visible only on the desktop version of your donor account, not within the mobile app.

  • Can Someone Use My Referral Code Without Setting Up a Donor Account?

    Yes! The referral is linked to a person making their first ever donation with ImpactLife, not necessarily to having a donor account. However, we highly encourage all donors to create an account to take advantage of donor rewards and see their impact.

  • Does My Referral Need to Bring the Code to Their Appointment?

    No need! Once your referral code is entered during scheduling their appointment, it’s automatically linked to the new donor’s record.

  • Will I Earn a Reward for Each Referral I Make?

    Yes! You can make as many referrals as you’d like, and each successful referral will be credited to your donor account. You’ll also earn digital badges when you reach 1, 5, and 10 referrals as a thank-you for helping grow our donor community.

  • Can the Referral Code Be Entered at or After the Time of Donation?

    No. At this time, the referral code must be entered when the referred donor schedules their appointment. Referral codes cannot be applied to walk-in appointments or added after the donation has been completed.
