Can you believe we're already three weeks into Muskie Madness 2025? What an incredible journey it's been watching our community come together to support such an important cause!
During Week Two, we saw an exciting three-way tie for first place between Madison Elementary, Muscatine Early Learning Center, and Grant Elementary—each with 8 donations! The community spirit was absolutely shining through as we reached 34 total donations by the halfway point.
What is Muskie Madness?
For friends just joining us, Muskie Madness is our annual event where Muscatine's seven elementary schools engage in a friendly competition to bring in the most blood donors. Each donation not only supports a school but also helps save lives in our community! Schools that qualify can apply for our LifeSavings Grant, creating a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved to make a real difference.
Week Three Highlights
This week brought some amazing surprises! Franklin Elementary made a tremendous leap with 7 donations this week alone! Way to go, Franklin! McKinley Elementary also showed momentum with 6 donations, while Mulberry Elementary continued their steady pace with 5 more donations.
Here's where all our wonderful schools stand after three exciting weeks:
Grant Elementary: 15 donations
Madison Elementary: 13 donations
Mulberry Elementary: 13 donations
McKinley Elementary: 11 donations
Muscatine Early Learning Center: 11 donations
Franklin Elementary: 10 donations
Jefferson Elementary: 9 donations
Grant Elementary has taken the lead, but the race remains incredibly close! Just look at those numbers! Every school is making such a meaningful difference!
The Impact So Far
Together, our seven elementary schools have brought in 82 total donations! That's potentially up to 246 lives touched by your generosity. Each donation represents someone in our community taking time out of their busy day to help others—what a beautiful thing to celebrate!
