Live like laiken
After a valiant struggle with cancer, Laiken passed away last year at 10 years old. She was a kind, generous, and caring person, as well as a friend to everyone.
Blood is medicine for many pediatric cancer patients, and that is why her family has teamed up with us to host a special in-center blood drive at our two Cedar Rapids donor centers and our Davenport Headquarters donor center.
Laiken required a lot of blood and plasma during her hospital stays, and the family wants to pay it forward and help others.
