More than 2000 die-hard fans of St. Louis classic rock station KSHE-95 are expected to give blood in this weekend's KSHE Winter Blood Drive (Fri., Dec. 13 and Sat., Dec. 14). Nonprofit blood provider ImpactLife is gearing up for one of the nation's largest blood drives, set for nine different locations over the next two days.
DAY ONE UPDATE: 1166 donations on Friday, beating the Day One goal by 82. Thank you, donors!

The blood center is looking to increase inventories in the days leading up to Christmas and New Year's, so the influx of donations comes at just the right time for our region's blood supply. All donors will receive the prized KSHE blood drive T-shirt and entry in a drawing for tickets to see El Monstero at The Pageant later this month.
