Always active and athletic, Andy dedicated himself to rehabilitation and recovery, eventually joining the Team USA sled hockey team and serving as team Captain in the Paralympic Games. 

He’s now a realtor in Iowa and raising two beautiful children with his wife, Katie.

Andy needed 22 units of blood to survive serious injuries after he was hit by a train as a teenager. Although he lost his legs in the accident, his life was saved.
