World Blood Donor Day is observed annually on June 14, and commemorates the birth of Dr. Karl Landsteiner, whose research identified the main blood groups: type A, type B, type AB and type O, as well as the Rh-factor in blood. Blood providers worldwide mark World Blood Donor Day by raising awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and by thanking volunteer donors for providing a lifesaving resource in their communities.

World Blood Donor Day is June 14! To celebrate, we've partnered with The Popcorn Shoppe in Peoria to create our very own popcorn, called 50th Birthday Blend! The delicious flavors were inspired by our brand colors: red (cherry), blue (red raspberry) and yellow (lemon). Starting June 11th to June 21st, The Popcorn Shoppe will donate 20% of 50th Birthday Blend sales to our organization.
The Popcorn Shoppe will hold a special fundraising event June 15, donating 20% of ALL popcorn sales that day to our organization! If you're in the Peoria area Saturday, June 15th, you can bring your own bucket (up to 5 gallons) of buttered movie-style popcorn for $5 per bucket.
